Would not stay here again

I do not typically write reviews, but I feel no one should pay $115 ($105 for the room and a $10 pet who never left his carrier except to walk outside) a night to stay here with this level of service or cleanliness. I reserved a non-smoking room with one queen size bed. When we arrived, the clerk was very less than pleasant. She did not bother explaining the breakfast schedule, explain how to get to the room or ask if we needed anything else. When we got to our room, it was on the smoking side of a door in a smoking room. Even though she made sure to tell me there was a fine for smoking in the room! When I called down to have my room changed she acted like I was an inconvenience. When we got to the new room which was just a few doors down from the old smoking room so you could still smell smoke, the carpet not been vacuumed and the room was not clean. Unfortunately, there were no other hotel rooms available in town. I will not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.
